CII-Yi Net of Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore is organizing Awaaz'10 - The Clarion Call for Change, the second national-level symposium on March 13. "Can the world’s largest democracy become an economic super power?" -- several panel discussions will be conducted on this topic.
In the recent times, India has been in the limelight of global arena and has played a significant role in influencing global investments and business alliances. On one hand, Indian democracy strives hard with its outdated laws, widespread corruption in all pillars of democracy, poor infrastructure, growing population and rising inflation. On the other hand, India is marching swiftly with its vibrant economic policies, increasing GDP, escalating annual growth rate, large pool of vibrant human assets, rich culture and strong financial system.
At this point of time, it is worthwhile to explore whether the largest economy will march forward to become an economic superpower.
